In unserem ersten Workshop von Mai bis Juli haben wir mit Geflüchteten in der Stadt Villa Global gearbeitet. Gemeinsam mit Schüler*innen der Heinrich-Heine Schule produzierten wir im Juni und Juli ein kollektives Musik-Video. Hier sind ein paar Eindrücke.
Using music to connect
This project was conceptualized by Selda Asal with the visual artist Özgur Erkök Moroder in 2015. Its aim was to gain insight into the lives of the people that make up the diverse population of Neukölln. The culmination of this collaborative work is a rap music video, which functions as a mediator to engage the public to share their own stories. (more…)
One of the important streets of Tarlabası, İstanbul is Omer Hayyam street, and Kahya Bey street is an long, narrow road that crosses it. The workshops that form that basis of the exhibition were done with children and the teenagers living in the first 61 meters of this street. (more…)

Since 2004 berlinerpool, an artist initiative, structures a cooperative network of artists, curators and art spaces. The mobile physical artists’ archive with 230 artists’ files and online portfolios introduce berlinerpool’s members. (more…)
